Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred small business grants are now available
Small and family businesses that were impacted by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred are now eligible to apply for disaster recovery assistance.
These grants will fund up to $25,000 for clean-up and help assist in return to operation costs, including: debris removal
replacing damaged equipment
building repairs
safety inspections
restocking and replanting
Grants of up to $10,000 are available to rural landholders or lessees of at least 10 hectares who sustained direct damage but are not eligible for other Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) primary producer assistance.

Loans now available for disaster affected businesses in Western Queensland due to rainfall and flooding
Disaster Assistance Loans and Essential Working Capital Loans have been activated for businesses in Barcoo, Boulia, Bulloo, Diamantina, Longreach, Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie, and Winton local government areas.
These loans are designed to support small businesses to re-establish operations relating to: Repairing or replacing damaged plant and equipment
Repairing or replacing buildings
Restocking inventory to resume operations
